Koren consciously chose the Club NXT project, the DNA of Club Brugge and an environment where structural investments are made in young up-and-coming talent. In addition to training, Club NXT offers a pathway that prepares him, as a player and as a person, for the next steps in his career: soccer in the Challenger Pro League, cup soccer, promotion to the starting team of Club Brugge... Several players have already gone before him and that played a decisive role in his decision.

Tian Nai Koren
At the age of 14, Tian already impressed with NK Maribor's U17 when he scored more than 30 goals in one season. His performance earned him a call-up to the Slovenian U17 where he scored four goals in three international matches. In the 2024/2025 season, he also made his presence felt on the European stage: in the UEFA Youth League, he made three appearances and scored one goal. Koren is a player who stands out for his creativity, mature game sense and scoring ability. Thanks to his exceptional talent, he is considered the most technically complete midfielder of his generation (2009) in Slovenia. In early 2025, he crowned his development with a first professional contract with NK Maribor. Now Tian is opting for the next step in his soccer career at Club NXT U23.
