Wout Verlinden is a Belgian central defender who can also perform in midfield. In July 2023, he traded the youth of KRC Genk for Club NXT. He signed a contract until 2026, with an option to 2027.
On October 6, 2024, Verlinden made his professional debut for Club NXT during the away game against SV Zulte Waregem. Wout also appeared frequently in the Youth League in 2024-2025.
