Hans Vanaken: "Cannot be happy with this result"
"Conceding five, maybe you should be happy with a draw. But when you take the lead so close to the final whistle, you should always be capable of holding on to it. Still we conceded that equaliser. They were offered that bit of space in the turnaround, which allowed them to create too many chances. We reacted perfectly twice, took the lead twice, but we just cannot be happy with this result."
Bjorn Meijer: "The negative part is that we also conceded five"
"Having taken the lead in extra time, those last minutes seemed without end. It's bitter to still be conceding that goal. They had nothing to lose, and played without any pressure. The positive is that we scored five, but the negative is that we also conceded five. And when Onyedika and Mechele are out injured, you just know it's not a night to remember kindly."
Christos Tzolis: "Still cannot believe it"
"I still cannot believe what just happened," Christos Tzolis started out. "A crazy result, and again we concede a goal in the very last seconds, just like in Ghent. No, I really don't understand it. The injuries of Mechele and Onyedika shouldn't really be an item, but it's clear that their absence weakened us defensively. I really hope their injuries aren't too serious, but it's clear we need to maintain a higher focus in the back. We agreed to go for it 100%, but we were already trailing within the very first minute. It turned out to be the start of an amazing night, unfortunately without a positive result this time. You can see that a draw like this can absolutely not be what we wanted, particularly as we were leading 5-4 with only one minute to go. I don't think it's a matter of quality, but this just cannot happen anymore, handing away a win just like that."
