Championships don't come courtesy of just one player: it's an entire group giving everything they've got for Blue & Black. With captain Vanaken, pillar in midfield Onyedika, newcomer Stanković and force of nature Vetlesen, Club Brugge's midfield doesn't come by all that often.
Our youngsters also pulled their weight: Seys, Sabbe, Spileers and Vermant all grabbed opportunities with both hands to be playing on the absolute highest level, showing that the future for Club looks golden.
You cannot win titles without scoring goals or without keeping opponents at bay. Tzolis, Tresoldi, Forbs and Vermant all took care of the fireworks and the vital goals, while in the back Mignolet, Mechele, Ordóñez etc. made sure they kept it tight when needed.
